paperedtogether is a little letterpress studio owned and operated by krista stout.  I love the slow, deliberate process of creating each design, mixing inks, setting up the press, and hand-printing each piece one at a time. although I never dreamed I'd be one, I come from a few generations of printers and love thinking of all the hands that have used these old presses before me.  

letterpress is a 500 year old relief printing technique in which a raised, inked image meets paper with enough pressure to produce a print.  letterpress offers a tactile and nostalgic feel that cannot be achieved with any other printing technique.  when combined with soft papers, letterpress printing conveys a beauty and elegance that leaves a lasting impression.
